FROM THE AUTHOR OF HOW TO STOP BREAKING YOUR OWN HEART
You Deserve to Live Again: How to Return Home to Yourself After Grief and Loss
ON SALE NOVEMBER 3RD, 2026
If you've ever thought...
"I don't recognise myself any more."
"Everyone expects me to move on."
"I'm scared I'll never feel like myself again."
"I feel guilty when I laugh."
"I don't know how to carry this pain."
This book was written for you.
What if the hardest part of grief isn’t only losing someone you love, but losing yourself too?
Life may have continued around you, but perhaps part of you still feels frozen in what happened. You might be doing everything expected of you while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected or unable to imagine a life that feels good again. You may no longer recognise the person you have become. And when moments of joy do appear, they can feel uncomfortable, undeserved or even disloyal to the person you have lost. Whether your loss is recent or you have been carrying it for years, You Deserve to Live Again offers a compassionate path through the pain and back towards yourself.
This isn’t about “getting over” grief.
It is about learning to live alongside it without allowing it to take the rest of your life too. After losing my beloved mother, my estranged father and 16 members of my wider community within two years, I found myself trapped in survival mode.
Grief affected my identity, my relationships, my health and my ability to imagine a future. I wrote this book to share the lessons, habits and healing practices that helped me find my way back to life.
Through three gentle stages, grieve, heal and live, you will learn how to:
Calm your body when grief feels overwhelming
Feel difficult emotions without being consumed by them
Care for yourself through rest, nourishment and movement
Use creativity to express what words cannot
Reconnect with community and moments of joy
Rebuild your identity and begin moving forward
This book is my intentional offering, written after five years of sitting with grief, once I'd found a way forward worth passing on.
These pages will not rush you, judge you or tell you to move on.
Instead, I hope it will meet you exactly where you are, hold your hand through the hardest moments and remind you that another life is still waiting for you.
You are not broken. You are not behind. And choosing to live does not mean leaving the person you love behind.
You deserve to grieve. You deserve to heal. You deserve to live.
WITH LOVE,
FROM SOMEONE WHO MADE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF GRIEF
AND SAVED YOU A SEAT
